Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Aurora Travelling!
By accessing and using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Use of Content
1.1 Intellectual Property
All content on this website – including texts, images, graphics, digital guides, eBooks and itineraries – is the property of Aurora Travelling unless otherwise stated, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

1.2 Use of Content
You may view, download and print the content for personal, non-commercial use only. Any reproduction or distribution without our express written permission is strictly prohibited.

2. User-Generated Content
2.1 User Contributions
By submitting reviews, comments or any other content, you grant Aurora Travelling a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual and worldwide licence to use, modify, publish and distribute your content.

2.2 Moderation
We reserve the right to monitor, edit or remove any content that we consider inappropriate, offensive or in breach of these Terms without prior notice.

3. Bookings and Payment
3.1 Digital Products (Digital Travel Guides and eBooks)
Purchases of digital products (including digital travel guides and eBooks) are considered to be digital downloads only. Such purchases do not constitute a booking of a journey. All sales of digital products are final and non-refundable, except as provided in Section 6.1.

For services that involve travel planning (Personalised Travel Planning Packages, Group Travel Experience Packages and add‑ons), you must complete a comprehensive submission form. Based on your responses, you will receive an invoice with a personalised price. Payment of that invoice confirms your service booking.

3.2 Deposits and Full Payment (Package Bookings)
For any travel package planning service using our concierge service, a deposit will be required in accordance with the total value of the complete journey (typically between 20% and 30% of the total cost). The deposit amount will be specified at the time of booking and is non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances (for example, a verified medical emergency).

Full payment must be completed by the date specified on your invoice. Failure to pay by this deadline may result in the cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of your deposit.

3.3 Add‑Ons and Concierge Services
Add‑on services (e.g. Extended Consultation Sessions, Concierge Booking Service, Priority Concierge Booking Service, etc.) are offered at the prices stated on our website. Please note that purchasing a concierge add‑on, or having it included in your package, covers only our planning and booking assistance. It does not include the cost of the journey or holiday itself. A separate quotation for the holiday will be provided after payment for the concierge service.

4. Itinerary Selection and Booking
4.1 Digital Itineraries and Travel Guides
Digital itineraries, travel guides and eBooks are provided solely as digital products. Their purchase does not confirm the booking of a journey.

If you wish for Aurora Travelling to organise and book your journey, you must contact us directly after reviewing our digital products.

4.2 Personalisation and Group Services
For the Personalised Travel Planning Packages and the Group Travel Experience Packages, you must complete a detailed submission form. In the case of group packages, the process includes a primary form to be completed by the group organiser, followed by a survey for the group members.

Upon submission, you will receive an invoice with a personalised price. Payment of that invoice confirms your service booking.

5. Package Travel Information
5.1 Package Bookings
When you book any Personalised Travel Planning Packages or Group Travel Experience Packages, we will provide you with a detailed description of the itinerary, including all services (e.g. accommodation, transport, guided activities), the total price (inclusive of all applicable taxes and charges), and the terms regarding payment, cancellation and refunds.

5.2 Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that you arrange comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, emergencies or interruptions. While we may provide information on insurance options, it is your responsibility to ensure you have appropriate cover.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
6.1 Digital Products
All sales of digital products (digital travel guides and eBooks) are final and non-refundable, except if the file is found to be corrupt or defective (in which case you must contact us within 7 days for a replacement) or if you have made duplicate purchases.

6.2 Service and Package Bookings
For travel services, our cancellation policy is designed to cover the costs incurred during the planning of your journey.

We recommend that you purchase travel insurance. In exceptional circumstances (such as a verified medical emergency), we may consider a partial refund at our sole discretion.

7. Changes to the Itinerary
7.1 Unforeseen Changes
If changes to your itinerary become necessary due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. transport issues or accommodation availability), you will be notified in a timely manner.

7.2 Significant Changes
If major changes occur (e.g. a change of destination), you may choose either to accept the change or to cancel your booking and receive a full refund (including your deposit).

7.3 Price Adjustments
If costs increase due to factors such as transport, fuel or other charges, we reserve the right to adjust the prices accordingly. If any price increase exceeds 8% of your total booking cost, you may cancel your booking and receive a full refund, including your deposit.

8. Force Majeure
Aurora Travelling is not liable for cancellations, delays or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, political instability or strikes.

9. Financial Protection
We ensure that your payments are protected. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, your booking payments will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable regulations in the United Kingdom and Portugal.

10. User Responsibilities
You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information during the booking process;
Ensure that your travel documentation (passport, visas, etc.) meets the destination requirements;
Purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, emergencies and interruptions.
11. Liability
11.1 Our Responsibilities
We will take reasonable care in fulfilling your booking as per the contract, but we are not liable for events beyond our control.

14.2 Shipping and Delivery
Shipping times vary according to the supplier and destination. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout, but we do not guarantee exact dates.
You are responsible for providing accurate shipping details. We are not liable for delays due to incorrect information.

14.3 Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds for dropshipping products are subject to the supplier’s policies. Please review the policy on the product page before making a purchase.
If you receive a defective or damaged product, contact us within 7 days with photographic evidence for resolution. Refunds or replacements will only be issued after confirmation of the issue by the supplier.

14.4 Customs and Import Fees
For international orders, any applicable customs duties or taxes are your responsibility.

14.5 Product Representation
We strive for accuracy in our product descriptions and images; however, minor variations in colour, size or packaging may occur due to differences between suppliers.
